ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Bills left guard Andy Levitre is expected to make his 19th straight start Sunday against the New England Patriots, a week after sustaining a neck injury at Green Bay.
Levitre missed practice on Wednesday, but returned Thursday after hurting his neck in Buffalo’s loss to the Packers. The second-year pro practiced fully Friday, wearing a protective collar on the top of his shoulder pads.
Levitre and center Geoff Hangartner were the only two offensive linemen to start every game for the Bills last season.
Linebacker Keith Ellison also practiced fully Friday and is expected to start. Coach Chan Gailey said Ellison got “dinged” in practice Wednesday.
Ellison is starting in place of Paul Posluszny (sprained right knee).
