JOLIET, Ill. (AP) — Craig Rust is out as president of Chicagoland Speedway.

International Speedway Corporation president John Saunders will take over while a search for a successor is underway.

ISC made the move on Friday and it comes only a month after Daytona International Speedway president Robin Braig left to “pursue other opportunities.” ISC officials have already hired Joie Chitwood III as its president.

Chicagoland Speedway will host the opening race of the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship in 2011.
