ISSAQUAH, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says it took about an hour to remove the last three people trapped in a van that was rear-ended by a pickup truck on I-90 at Issaquah.

There were seven people in the King County Metro Van that was struck just before 6 a.m. Friday. Trooper Christina Martin says it was hit from behind at a high rate of speed. Both vehicles rolled over into a ditch.

Five people were taken to Overlake Hospital in Bellevue and three to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Troopers say none of the victims appeared to have life-threatening injuries.

Martin says the pickup truck driver had been drinking.
