On September 20 at 3:45 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to a robbery at the Shell station located at 7204 NE Fourth Plain. Allegedly, a suspect reached across the counter and took cash from the open cash drawer before running out of the store. The suspect was seen fleeing the area on a motorcycle parked a short distance away. Witnesses indicated that the motorcycle was last seen near Fourth Plain and Gher Road, continuing east at a high rate of speed. The suspect was not apprehended, and his current identity is unknown. The suspect is a white male, approximately 27 years old, 6 foot, 3 inches, last seen wearing a black motorcycle jacket, denim jeans/pants.
Vancouver police this morning released video of a Monday afternoon robbery of a convenience store near the Vancouver Auto Mall.
The robbery occurred at 3:45 p.m. at the Shell Kwik Gas, 7204 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd.
The video, captured by a store security camera, shows a tall man in his late 20s reach across a counter and take money from a cash drawer, then flee out the door.
Police responded quickly, and spotted the bandit fleeing on a motorcycle. He sped away and police lost sight of him near Fourth Plain and Gher Road.
He was described as a white man, 6 feet, 3 inches tall, wearing a black motorcycle jacket and denim jeans. He rode a dark-colored motorcycle.
