MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Play has been suspended in the first quarter of the Central Florida-Kansas State game because of lightning.

There was 12 minutes, 5 seconds left in the first quarter when officials cleared the field. Each team had had one possession and there was no score. There was a forecast of rain for the area but it was not raining when play was halted.
