Man gets 51 years for raping teen in Pierce Co.

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — A 23-year-old man convicted of raping a 15-year-old girl has been sentenced to 51 years in prison.

Aaron Olson was sentenced Friday in Pierce County Superior Court. The News Tribune of Tacoma reports that a jury convicted him last month of two counts of second-degree rape.

Prosecutors say he and 23-year-old Anthony Emery Jr. attacked the girl in May 2005. Emery pleaded guilty last month and received 17 years and six months in prison.
