CLARK COUNTY — Grant awards worth between $500 and $5,000 are available to local agencies focusing on homelessness and housing.

The Nonprofit Network Giving Circle of Clark County Women is offering its annual round of grants. Previous grants have focused on youth and senior citizen needs.

“Many people and families are unable to pay market rates for housing,” said giving circle co-chair Sarah Sherington. “Our giving circle intends to learn more about the issue and make targeted investments in this crucial area of need in our community.”

Agencies applying for a grant must offer an effective method to address the issue and submit an application by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22. Download an application at http://nonprofitnetworkwa.org or call 360-735-7110.
