WASHINGTON (AP) — Geoff Cameron headed in Brad Davis’ free kick in the 70th minute to break a tie and help the Houston Dynamo to a 3-1 comeback victory over D.C. United on Saturday.

Dominic Oduro added a goal in the 10th minute of stoppage time after an injury to goalkeeper Pat Onstad prolonged play. That sealed the first victory in five league matches for the Dynamo (7-14-5), who tied it in the 66th minute on a fluky own goal.

D.C. United (5-18-3) fell to their ninth loss in 11 matches despite Andy Najar scoring in the 29th minute to become the third D.C. rookie to score five goals in a season.

United nearly doubled the lead after halftime when Danny Allsopp’s rebound effort was called back for offside in the 59th minute, and Pablo Hernandez’s rebound was thwarted by Onstad in the 62nd.

Four minutes later, the Dynamo tied it when Davis mishit Richard Mulrooney’s cross, only for it to deflect off D.C.’s Devon McTavish and into the net.

After Najar’s tackle resulted in a free kick on the left, Cameron then followed the own goal with a perfectly placed header inside the left post and beyond D.C.’s Troy Perkins.
