Camas School District, 5:30 p.m., Skyridge Middle School, 5220 N.W. Parker St.: 2010-11 Carl Perkins grant application; special education and related services procedure update; recommendation for naming new east elementary school; ratify contract with Camas Education Association; construction projects reports; and executive session on personnel.

Skamania County commissioners, 9:30 a.m., Skamania County Courthouse, Stevenson: set a public hearing for 5:30 p.m. Oct. 12 to consider Ordinance 2010-07 increasing the E911 excise tax; reappoint Roberta Matta to position No. 2 on the Human Services Advisory Board; Resolution 2010-59 updating the 2010 Community Action Plan; contract with Swanson Services.

Clark County commissioners, 10 a.m., Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.: public hearing on excise tax for emergency communications system.

Clark County SMP Update Coalition, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Clark County Public Service Center, Commissioners Hearing Room No. 680, 1300 Franklin St.: joint meeting of the Shoreline Stakeholders & Technical Advisory Committees on Draft Shoreline Designations. The Shoreline Stakeholders will continue to 7 p.m. to discuss general goals and policies.
