DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Pakistan (AP) — Pakistani intelligence officials say a suspected U.S. missile attack has killed at least three people near the Afghan border.

The officials say the missiles targeted a house Sunday in the Datta Khel area of the North Waziristan tribal region. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.

The identities of the three people killed were not known.

It was the 18th suspected U.S. drone attack this month — the most intense barrage since the strikes began in 2004.
