SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea’s official news agency says leader Kim Jong Il’s son has been named to the Central Military Commission of the ruling Workers’ Party.
The official Korean Central News Agency said early Wednesday in Pyongyang that Kim Jong Un was named vice chairman of the central military commission. It would be the first known political post for Kim Jong Il’s youngest son.
