MIAMI (AP) — Jason Taylor was walking around the visitor’s locker room after the game in a “Los Jets” T-shirt. He even dried off from a postgame shower with a green towel.

Unthinkable just a few months ago, this was reality Sunday night.

He walked out of the Miami Dolphins’ home stadium a winner for the 58th time. Only this time, he did as part of the once-hated Jets.

Taylor had a sack and a quarterback hurry in the Jets’ 31-23 win over the Dolphins, a game that came tinged with emotion for the former NFL defensive player of the year — because he spent 12 of his first 13 seasons as a pro in Miami.

After the game, he was saying, “Whether people like it or not, I am a New York Jet.”
