GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — It looks like Frank Zombo will start at outside linebacker for the Green Bay Packers in Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy says Zombo would be his starter if he had to field a team today, with Brad Jones still hampered by injuries. McCarthy says the Packers have spent too much time waiting for injured players to get healthy, and need to go with players they know will be able to play.

Zombo came in to Packers training camp as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Central Michigan, then made the team with impressive performances in practice and preseason games.
