TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Alabama coach Nick Saban says defensive end Marcell Dareus has “a pretty good chance” to play Saturday night against No. 7 Florida.

Saban says Dareus didn’t have any issues during Wednesday’s practice for the top-ranked Crimson Tide but his left ankle probably still isn’t 100 percent.

Dareus was injured late in the first half against Arkansas but returned to the game in the second half.

Dareus says he was able to push off on his injured leg pretty well by Wednesday, but couldn’t do it at all Sunday.

He was suspended for the first two games for accepting improper benefits from an agent on two trips to Miami.
