Rays 3B Longoria leaves game with muscle soreness

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — Tampa Bay Rays All-Star third baseman Evan Longoria left Saturday night’s game against Baltimore due to muscle soreness on the left side on his upper body.

The Rays said Longoria will have his oblique muscle re-evaluated on Sunday

Sean Rodriguez replaced Longoria at third to start the sixth inning.

Longoria went 0 for 1 with a walk.
