Saint Daimon wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Saint Daimon, the 6-5 favorite, edged Hewitts by a nose Friday in the $45,080 allowance feature at Aqueduct.

Ramon Dominguez, who had three winners on the card, was aboard for trainer Steven Jerkens as the 8-year-old gelding got his eighth win in 40 starts. The time was 1:09.66 for the six furlongs.

Saint Daimon paid $4.60, $2.70 and $2.10. Hewitts returned $2.70 and $2.40. Who’s the Cowboy paid $2.20 to show.
