LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — A colt by Indian Charlie out of the A.P. Indy mare Teenage Temper brought $625,000 to top Keeneland’s April Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale on Monday.

Jess Jackson’s Stonestreet Stables purchased the colt, which was consigned by Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds as agent.

Stonestreet also paid the second highest price of the sale, $485,000, for a colt by War Front out of the El Prado mare La Prada. He was consigned by Wavertree Stables Inc. as agent.

Keeneland sold 70 horses during the one-day sale for $11,564,000, an average of $165,200. Those figures are down from 2010, when 71 horses sold for $12,013,000, an average of $169,197.
