McMINNVILLE, Ore. (AP) — McMinnville, Ore., police say the Audubon Society is caring for an injured bald eagle found in some brush.

The Audubon Society’s Deb Sheaffer says the bird appears to be about a 6-year-old female with an injured shoulder. She’s being treated with antibiotics and supportive care and evaluated day by day.

Local residents found the bird on Saturday.
