SALEM, Ore. (AP) — An Oregon dairy has been fined $30,000 for dumping farm waste into a tributary of the Willamette River.
Attorney General John Kroger announced that Volbeda Dairy pleaded guilty Monday in Linn County Circuit Court to three counts of second-degree unlawful water pollution. The case stems from incidents between January 2009 and May 2010.
The dairy was fined and placed on three years probation.
