MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Attorneys for the NFL have wrapped up their meeting with the federal judge overseeing court-ordered mediation.

The session with U.S. Magistrate Judge Arthur Boylan lasted for about five hours Wednesday. Lawyers for the locked-out players met with him for about four hours on Tuesday.

Both sides will sit down with Boylan on Thursday for the first talks since the collective bargaining agreement expired on March 11. The NFL says commissioner Roger Goodell and some of the owners will attend.

NFL Players Association executive DeMaurice Smith is scheduled to attend, too.
