Spa City Princess wins Aqueduct race

NEW YORK (AP) — Spa City Princess edged Eager Emma by a neck in Wednesday’s $60,000 Chase The Dream Stakes for fillies and mares bred in New York.

Well positioned behind the front runners on the muddy track, Spa City Princess rallied for her fifth win in 11 races. Ramon Dominguez, who had four winners on the card, rode for trainer Pat Kelly. The time for the 1 mile was 1:37.65.

Spa City Princess paid $10.60, $4.70 and $2.10. Eager Emma, coupled in the betting with fifth place-finisher Banker’s Buy, returned $2.90 and $2.10.
