TORONTO (AP) — The Blue Jays have activated right-hander Frank Francisco from the 15-day disabled list and have optioned right-hander Jesse Litsch to Triple-A Las Vegas.
The 31-year-old Francisco had been placed on the disabled list on March 31, retroactive to March 22, because of a strained right shoulder. He was 0-1 with a 10.80 ERA in five relief appearances during a rehabilitation assignment with Class A Dunedin.
Litsch, 26, is 1-1 with 1-1 with a 3.63 ERA in three starts for the Blue Jays this season.
Toronto announced the moves before Tuesday’s game against the New York Yankees.
