SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A horse that wandered onto Highway 2 was killed and two drivers suffered minor injuries in an accident Tuesday morning west of Spokane near Reardan.

The Washington State Patrol says the horse was first hit by a semi-truck truck. It knocked the horse into an oncoming pickup truck that ran off the road.

KREM reports both trucks had to be towed from the scene. The highway was blocked for two hours.
