EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — An Oregon man who just began a 17-year prison term for killing two friends in a September drunken driving crash has been sentenced to an additional 112 years for lying under oath during his December manslaughter trial.

The Register-Guard reports that a Lane County jury in Eugene convicted Tyler Clayton Davis of perjury for testifying that victim Joshua Thornton was driving Davis’ pickup truck during the rollover crash on the Oregon coast.

Another victim, Nicholas Schneider, also died of injuries suffered in the crash on a back road between Florence and Reedsport.

Other witnesses in the manslaughter trial — including two police officers, a paramedic and a motorist who called 911 after spotting the crash — testified that Davis told them he was driving.
