Banquet raises money for disability needs

Van Mall — More than $21,000 was raised for clients and programs of Innovative Services NW at its ninth annual Caring Hearts Awards Dinner and Celebration on March 26 at the Heathman Lodge ballroom. Jody Campbell was welcome address speaker, and Jesse McCann of the Oregon Guitar Quartet provided musical entertainment.

Representatives from the Safeway Foundation presented a check for $10,000 to Innovative Services NW on behalf of local employees.

Innovative Services NW is a nonprofit agency providing services, support and advocacy to people with disabilities and disadvantages of all kinds.
