SAN DIEGO (AP) — Roy Oswalt and three relievers pitched a combined four-hitter and the Philadelphia Phillies won 3-0 Thursday night against the San Diego Padres, who have been shut out a major league-leading five times in 19 games.

Ben Francisco and Brian Schneider homered for the Phillies, who’ve won eight straight and 12 of 13 at Petco Park dating to the 2008 season.

Oswalt (3-0) allowed only one hit in six innings, Chris Denorfia’s opposite-field single to right with two outs in the fifth. Oswalt allowed only two other baserunners, on walks, while striking out seven. The only Padres baserunner to reach second against Oswalt was Jason Bartlett, who drew a leadoff walk in the first and then stole second.

Jose Contreras pitched the ninth for his fifth save.
