BOSTON (AP) — The Boston Bruins are heading to Montreal with a 3-2 lead over the Canadiens in their first-round playoff series.

But the Bruins know better than anyone that the fourth win is the hardest.

Boston led Philadelphia 3-0 in last year’s Eastern Conference semifinals before the Flyers came back to win it. So the Bruins aren’t taking anything for granted.

The Bruins won 2-1 on Saturday night on Nathan Horton’s goal in double overtime. Boston got some great saves — and not all of them by goalie Tim Thomas. Forward Michael Ryder and defenseman Zdeno Chara also knocked aside shots that were headed to the net.

Game 6 is Tuesday.
