DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Two American superstars are crossing paths at an art institution in a Philadelphia suburb.
Visitors to the James A. Michener Museum can peek into the lives of Elvis Presley and Muhammad Ali in a pair of photography exhibits called “Ali and Elvis: American Icons.”
Fifty-six photos by Alfred Wertheimer chronicle The King when Presley was still a prince at age 21. It was just as Elvis’ star began to rise.
The images of Ali were shot by multiple photographers. They tell the story of his life from teen boxer to his reign as The Greatest to a beloved figure battling Parkinson’s disease.
“American Icons” runs through May 15 in Doylestown.
