Vancouver — The Fort Vancouver Regional Library District has announced it will restore hours at six libraries beginning Sunday, May 1.

The restoration of library open hours to 2008 levels will begin with Vancouver Mall Community Library on May 1, when the library will open at 11 a.m., one hour earlier. Battle Ground, Cascade Park, Goldendale, Stevenson and Three Creeks will add Monday hours beginning May 2. White Salmon Valley Community Library will shift its Saturday schedule one hour earlier beginning May 7, but will no increase its hours.

Vancouver Community Library, the district’s main library, will delay restoring Sunday hours until it opens in a new, much larger building in mid-July, at which time it will be open seven days a week.

Hours for each library branch are online at http://fvrl.org/aboutus/branch_list.cfm
