WARRENTON, Ore. (AP) — Police in Warrenton on the Oregon coast say the state medical examiner’s office has identified the victim of a fatal houseboat fire last week.

Police say 31-year-old Mindy Jo McMackin died in the fire last Friday. Investigators said she lived on the houseboat with her 14-year-old son, who was not home at the time.

The state fire marshal’s office has determined the fire was accidental and resulted from an electrical problem.
