Spokane transient sentenced to 10 years for death

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A Spokane transient who pleaded guilty to beating a man to death was sentenced Monday to 10 years in prison.

The Spokesman-Review reports Rolane E. Benton pleaded guilty last month to manslaughter in the beating death of Douglas Klages. His who body was found a year ago in a cave at a park in Dishman Hills.
