SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle police say two officers were injured arresting a man suspected of assaulting a bouncer at a bar.

When officers found the man Monday night he was preparing to fight another man.

The suspect resisted arrest, knocking one officer to the ground and punching the other officer before he was taken into custody.

Both officers were treated at a hospital. The officer who hit the ground suffered a mild concussion and the other officer needed four stitches for a cut hand.

The 23-year-old suspect is jailed for investigation of assault.
