Clark County commissioners need to fill a vacancy with a volunteer representing a county business on the county Solid Waste Advisory Commission.

The nine-member group makes recommendations on solid-waste, recycling and waste-reduction programs to the county commissioners. The group also makes recommendations on landfills and transfer facilities. Members serve three-year terms. The group meets at 6 p.m. the first Thursday of each month.

To apply, submit a letter of interest and résumé to Jennifer Clark, Board of County Commissioners, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000 or email jennifer.clark@clark.wa.gov. The deadline to apply is May 6.
