BEND, Ore. (AP) — The driver in a single-car crash on Highway 20 near Black Butte Ranch that killed two teens in central Oregon last August has agreed to a plea deal that avoids a trial and is expected to send her to prison for more than six years.

KTVZ-TV reports that 23-year-old Stacia Roberts entered guilty pleas to two counts of manslaughter and a single count of assault in the crash that killed 19-year-old Joshua Herrin and 18-year-old Nina Blackmore.

Roberts also entered a conditional guilty plea, known as an Alford plea, to drunken driving charges. In the Alford plea, a defendant does not admit guilt but acknowledges a judge or jury is likely to find the person guilty.

Sentencing was set for May 16 in Deschutes County Circuit Court.
