DALLAS (AP) — Officials have reopened sections of the Dallas Zoo that were closed after two men fled police and led authorities on a chase through the zoo.

Dallas police Sgt. Warren Mitchell says officers were serving a warrant at a nearby apartment Friday when two men, including the one they wanted, ran and jumped a fence into the zoo.

One of the men was quickly detained and later released. Police evacuated a portion of the zoo while they searched for the wanted man.

He was being sought on a probation violation related to an aggravated robbery and remained at large Friday afternoon.
