SALEM, Ore. (AP) — A 31-year-old Salem man with a long criminal record is headed to prison for four years for auto theft.
The Statesman Journal reports Lloyd W. Wright was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty.
Marion County prosecutors call him a prolific car thief with a record going back to 1998. He was arrested in March when he asked for a ride in Salem from a man who turned out to be an undercover officer who knew he was wanted.
A red light camera in Salem took a photo of him in November driving a stolen car.
