OUTLOOK, Wash. (AP) — A 17-year-old girl who was wounded in a gang shooting at her home Outlook has died.

KNDO reports she died Friday morning at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The Yakima County sheriff’s office says a car pulled up into the driveway of the home Thursday night and four people got out wearing blue bandanas over their faces. The girl’s mother says she broke out a window hoping to scare them away.

They knocked on the door, and when the 17-year-old opened it she was shot in the side. She was taken to Sunnyside Community Hospital and then to the Seattle hospital.

The sheriff’s office says there have been other gang-related incidents at the home.
