Letter: Confidence in Jacks’ ability

The Columbian
Published: April 30, 2011, 12:00am

I’ve known Jim Jacks for a long time — when he was a citizen advocate for the city of Vancouver, a state representative and always as a friend. He asks, he listens, he is compassionate and he acts. And that is what has made him so competent for so long.

Yes, he has a major problem, but, typical of Jacks, he is acting on it and I am confident that he will follow through. He will be back in some role and he will make a difference for the betterment of all of us.
