Minor quake strikes in east Washington; no damages

RICHLAND, Wash. (AP) — A small earthquake has struck in eastern Washington’s Benton County. There are no immediate reports of damages or injuries.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude 3.0 quake hit Saturday at 9:13 p.m. It was centered 9 miles north of Richland.

The USGS says several people in Pasco and Richland reported feeling the temblor.
