INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Rotnei Clarke, one of the nation’s best shooting guards, will transfer from Arkansas to Butler.

His father confirmed the decision in a text message Monday night. CBSsports.com first reported the move.

It’s a major recruiting win for the Bulldogs, who have lost the national championship game each of the past two seasons.

Clarke averaged 15.2 points for Arkansas last season and shot well from 3-point range.

He chose Butler over Oklahoma.
