On Tuesday, detectives from the Digital Evidence Cybercrime Unit arrested and booked Pamela K. Scott, 53, of Vancouver into the Clark County jail on suspicion of 58 counts of possession of child pornography and 1 count of dealing child pornography.

The investigation involved the alleged downloading and sharing of child pornography over the internet.

Detectives served a search warrant at Scott’s residence in the 6800 block of Northeast 31st Avenue in March 2011 and digital evidence was seized, said police spokeswoman Kim Kapp in a press release.

Following extensive forensic analysis, the press release said, evidence of the crime was discovered.
