PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills signed free agent wide receiver Buster Davis on Thursday.
The 6-for-1, 210-pound Davis was originally drafted by San Diego with the 30th pick of the first round of the 2007 draft out of LSU. He played in just 26 games with the Chargers, catching 51 passes for 558 yards and two touchdowns.
Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix was part of the San Diego staff that drafted Davis. He was released by the Chargers last week.
The Bills also waived defensive back Domonic Cook, who was signed as an undrafted free agent out of the University at Buffalo.
