VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — The Vancouver Canucks have signed forwards Owen Noland and Todd Fedoruk to tryout contracts.
The team announced the deals on Thursday.
The 39-year-old Nolan spent last season with Zurich of the Swiss League, where he scored seven goals and added 19 assists in 24 games. He played 1,200 career NHL games for seven teams, recording 885 points from 422 goals and 463 assists, plus 1,793 penalty minutes.
Tampa Bay bought out Fedoruk’s contract after the 2009-10 season. The 32-year-old enforcer did not play in the NHL last season. He has 97 points and 1,050 penalty minutes in 545 NHL games with six teams over nine seasons.
