DENVER (AP) — Denver Broncos coach John Fox isn’t making any promises about his starting quarterback.
Kyle Orton, as planned, is No. 1 to open camp and is clearly ahead of Tim Tebow. Orton took all the snaps with the first team.
There have been reports that Orton was told he’s already been named the starter, but Fox said Wednesday that nothing has changed.
On the defensive side, the Broncos got a closer look at lineman Brodrick Bunkley, who practiced for the first time Wednesday after being acquired in a trade with Cleveland.
