PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A Multnomah County Circuit Court jury deliberated less than four hours Wednesday before returning with guilty verdicts on murder, assault and burglary charges against Tyson Wilcher.
The 29-year-old faces at least 25 years in prison when he is sentenced Sept. 15.
The Oregonian reports (http://bit.ly/qsHcYe ) he’s the first of four defendants to be tried in the March 2010 beating death of 55-year-old Jesus Rodriguez Garcia during a home invasion drug robbery at a southeast Portland apartment.
