Several people are in custody following a methamphetamine investigation in downtown Vancouver Wednesday.

Jodie Underwood, spokeswoman for the Drug Enforcement Administration in Seattle, said the suspects will make a court appearance at 2 p.m. today in U.S. District Court in Tacoma.

Underwood would not release the names of the suspects or any other details of the investigation, saying that information will be released after they appear in court.

Being searched was El Parral Mexican Restaurant and Night Club at 704 Main St., just north of Turtle Place. The Turtle Place mural is on a wall of the building.

The glass in the front door had been removed and officers were stepping through the opening.

It’s believed that more than one location was being targeted.
