Rotary Club of Vancouver Sunrise is putting on the Southwest Washington’s Got Talent competition as a fundraiser for its various community projects, including the Clark County Sheriff’s Santa’s Posse, holiday food and gifts for low-income families, student scholarships and the Orchards Park Rose Garden.
To enter the talent contest, performers need to submit a video and a $15 entry fee on the contest website Southwest Washington’s Got Talent by midnight Aug. 26.
People can view the submissions online and vote for their favorite. Voting costs $1 and must be done by midnight Sept. 4.
The top 10 finalists will be invited to perform before a live audience on Sept. 11 at the Vancouver Sausage Fest.
The winner will receive $1,200. The second-place finisher will receive $800 and the third-place finisher will receive $400.
