OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — Christiesborntorun took command turning for home and cruised to a 3 14 lengths victory in the $50,000 allowance feature at Monmouth Park on Friday.

Trained by Jason Servis and ridden by Elvis Trujillo, Christiesborntorun covered the five furlongs over firm turf in 0:55 2/5 seconds and returned $3.20, $2.60 and $2.60 as the odds-on choice in the field of eight colts and geldings.

Wildcat Glory rallied for second and paid $6 and $4.60. It was another length and a quarter back to Outstanding Hope, who was $6.40 to show.

The win was the second in five starts for Christiesborntorun, a 3-year-old colt by Grand Slam out of the stakes winning mare Chocolate Brown. The winner was bred in Kentucky by Dennis Drazin.
