Vuvuzelas banned at U20 WCup stadium in Colombia

PEREIRA, Colombia (AP) — Vuvuzelas aren’t the most welcome sound in this city.

A city hosting the Under-20 World Cup in Colombia have banned fans from taking the noisemakers to games. Pereira city officials made the announcement before Ecuador was to play Costa Rica and Nigeria was to face Saudi Arabia in a double-header Saturday at Hernan Ramirez Villegas Stadium.
