Letter: Lend a hand for positive outcome

With all the discussions regarding the solutions (or lack thereof) to our national economic situation that went on in D.C., I think it is an appropriate time to take a look at what each of us in our own communities can do to contribute to this country. No matter how “small” the action, anything is better than the negative arguing, blaming, fighting and bickering that continues to go on. We are all Americans.

If you’re lucky enough to have two hands, perhaps you can spare one to help your neighbor — if you’re not too busy scoring political points online, I mean.
